Brief Description:  Left wing fuel tank part #34

It was a hot one today. Removed every second cleco, clean out the rivet holes with the #40 punch and the area with acetone. Once both sides were done, I mixed a batch of sealant and placed it in a syringe.

Filled each hole, inserted a cleaned 3-5 rivet in every hole, ensure it was seated and then squeezed away.

Removed the remaining clecoes, cleaned the excess proseal up and then repeated the process.

I've very happy with the results. I just have to complete the inboard and outboard rib flanges to the baffle. Once that is done, I will mask off the baffle with electrical tape, mix a batch of sealant and cover the baffle flange to the skin. I sealed the rivet heads, but feel better adding that extra layer of sealant.

I'll probably finish off the tank on Wednesday as I'm away tomorrow flying the T-6. Just have to add the inspection plate and were done.

I really slowed done in the build as a result of this tank. I wasn't in a hurry to do it. I really didn't mind using the proseal, but it wasn't something that I was in a hurry to do.

Hope there's no leaks when I check both tanks in about 2 weeks!

On another note, I orderd two infinity grips and my hooker harnesses.
